It’s been feeling a lot like Spring lately. Celebs have been stepping out in spring like colors too – Solange and Kristen in yellow, Jamie with a floral print skirt, Jessica color-blocking in pastel shades and Mary Kate blends an all black look with a hint of orange clutch and sandals. These outfits are all great examples of what we should be doing to prepare for spring. Start gathering floral dresses or bright blazers and pair them with winter clothes so then you’ll be spring-ready! When the warm months are finally here, the transition will seem effortless.

Hey blog readers! As women, we are always trying to find ways to change up our looks – whether it’s a fresh new do, a different hairstyle or a new makeup trick that will bring us out and make us look more intriguing and unique.

Diane Kruger, Meagan Good and Jessica Alba can relate to what I’m talking about because as celebs (who are always in the spotlight) they have to come up with creative ways to always look good on the red carpet. Their makeup artists and stylists are always looking for ways to make them more beautiful and if we all had a makeup artist or hair stylists, I’m sure we’d be be spotless on the red carpet!

Diane’s entire look is to die for. She has a twisted updo, flawless skin, defined eyebrows, alluring eyes and perfectly glossed lips- need I say more? The German beauty always knows what looks good on her and always goes for it. She’s a fan of updos and this one is a fav. She also tries to keep her makeup focused on one thing, whether it’s vibrant lips or dazzling eyes.

Exotic beauty Meagan Good has very good features. And her haircut, showcased in her new show, The Game, is a do for her face shape and for bringing out her great eyes and lips. A short haircut is sometimes a good change from the norm and a lot more playful. As seen in this pic (above), Meagan is wearing a fedora and her hair is falling around her face effortlessly.

The lovely Jessica Alba was invited to Paris Fashion Week for the Vogue/Gucci party, where this picture was taken. She got this new bob cut about a month ago and it looks gorgeous on her. It’s a face framing bob and easy to maintain for a mom on the run. Jessica’s makeup is also a hit as she opted for extra-long lashes, glossed lips and a bronze glow.

2. What kind of makeup should you apply for a NYFW show?

If you’re leaving from work to attend a NYFW show, my advice is to keep your makeup simple. Try Megan Fox’s look with a bold lip and simple eye makeup. Apply what you would normally for a work day and just add a bold lip at the end of your day- done!

If you have a little bit more time in your day, give your eyes a bit more attention with a bold smokey eye and crimson lips like Jessica Alba’s or add some extra eyelashes and gold eyeshadow like Chanel Iman for a dramatic look.
